Are you the NEXT Millionaire?

Whatever the mind can Conceive and Believe, the mind can Achieve! – Napoleon Hill

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great- Mark Twain

According to the Boston Consulting Group’s Global Wealth report, Singapore continued to have the densest population of millionaire households in the world. Not to mention, Singapore also has the fastest growing number of millionaire households, with nearly a third (!) increase from 2009. This is an incredible achievement for a country of only 5 million people and with limited natural resources. A staggering 15.5% of the households have at least US$1million in asset under management. To put things into perspective, the second highest concentration is only at 9.9%, from Switzerland.

If you are really keen to achieve your first million, what better place to find a mentor than Singapore?

And there is no better time to learn than now. As we all know, recessions create more millionaires than expansion. Do you have the right skillset and desire to benefit from this crisis? Whether you profit from panic and become big winners or miss the boat (yet again!) will ultimately depend on having the right mindset, knowledge and taking action at an opportune time. Fortunately for all of us, these skills can be learned.

Making money is a game. It’s a game that we are never taught in school. Play it well and money will flow into your hands. Play it wrongly and you may be too fearful to play it again. To play it right, you need to learn the rules and learn from the right person. All of us have been given “wealth tips” from well-meaning relatives but ask yourself this, how many of them are millionaires? Learn it from someone who practices what he preaches. Learn it from a millionaire! In Neuro Linguistic Programming (“NLP”) language, this method is called modeling.

There are various articles written about how to be rich. Various tips and strategies to strike it rich have been brandished. Secrets are “unveiled”. How then do you know if these strategies work? That these are really the secrets and that the strategies are sound? To me, the answer is very simple. What is the financial proof of these “authors”? Are they millionaires themselves or did they become a millionaire by selling you these "tips"?

You can learn and model the strategies of a millionaire and most importantly, the mindset of a millionaire from Adam Khoo, one of the youngest millionaires in Singapore.
